2011 Ram Heavy Duty models come equipped with our innovative NOx Absorber Catalyst (NAC) system that automatically regulates diesel emissions according to EPA standards. So while other drivers will be required to invest in a DEF system to maintain and monitor diesel exhaust fluid, you can save your time and money.

Ram Heavy Duty trucks with the 6.7-liter Cummins® Turbo Diesel engine are equipped^[1] with a standardintegrated diesel exhaust brake. It prolongs brake life, reduces brake fade and provides stopping safety and confidence when hauling heavy loads on downhill grades.

The diesel exhaust brake slows your truck down without using your wheel brakes. Instead, exhaust gasses that would normally flow through the turbocharger are kept in the engine after the turbo's exhaust inlet closes. This builds exhaust backpressure, which slows the engine and therefore the drivetrain.

A wide brake pad surface area, and large brake pistons and calipers, mean longer intervals between brake jobs and less time and money spent in the shop.

Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks offer two box options and three cab options, including the Crew Cab, so you know there's a model that will meet your needs. Crew Cab models are available with either the 6'4" or 8' box. This means you get maximum passenger room plus greater maneuverability when towing a trailer with the 8' box. The tailgate is sculpted for better airflow, incorporating a spoiler in the upper part of the sheet metal.
